International Rights Day

On December 9, we joined the International Rights Day Carnival. The theme of this year is 'the violation of rights'. Due to the public misunderstanding, prejudice and discrimination against sex work, sex workers' human rights are often violated. The police abuse of power, the violence from the customers, the discrimination from the neighbour and family, and the lack of concern from the public, push sex workers to more violence and suppression. This year, apart from Zi Teng and JJJ Association (support group formed by sex workers), some customers also joined us in the carnival to protect sex workers' human rights. We distributed the 'health card' (condom included). We also invited the passer-by to give a vote for the most inhuman violation of sex workers' human right.
