Zi Teng joined the July 1 Rally organized by the Civil Human Rights Front with five sex workers, volunteers and some clients. Different to the ones we joined in the past few years, we not only 'joined' the rally, we also walked in the very front of the queue and gave a speech to the other participants. In our speech, we expressed our hope for the coming of the real general election. We hope that sex workers can elect a person who truly represent and protect their interests with their own vote. At the same time, we also hoped that there will be less social discrimination against sex workers, and the police will stop their raids against sex workers.
